paris hilton taught me something
things happen for a reason... and i truly believe it. especially in the past few months, i learn more and more about myself from everything that has happened to me and from the people i have crossed path with... many times things don't turn out the way i plan, but they always teach me something... the same thing as the people i met briefly or those who become my close friends. in every occasion, what i'm trying to do is to make the best out of everything (even in the worst scenario that currently is still happening) so at the end of the day, i can look back and have a smile on my face and feel good about myself...
i had dinner with a good friend of
mine last nite. we talked about lotta stuff... you know, girly stuff... so we talked about boys, assholes we met on the dance floor the other nite (the endup held another reggae gold this past weekend where me, tj, ellena 'n kelly went to. it was 1 of the MOST fun and 'memorable' clubbing outings i've ever had).. all the way to paris hilton. i don't remember how the topic of paris hilton came up, but at the end we were wondering if she even graduated from high school or passed her GED...
hahaahah... c'mon... think about it. with all the leeways she has from having 'hilton' last name, will she ever need to struggle? hehehe... she's very lucky in a way, isn't she? :)
anyway, from our conversation, i figured 1 thing... i may not be as rich as paris hilton, but in a way, i am as rich as her or even richer... why? 'cuz i have my TRUE friends around. friends who don't pretend to be one 'cuz of my last name or the connections i or my parents have and who always watch my back no matter what... friends who see me as me...
people keep telling me that patience is a virtue and good things come to those who wait, at the least expected... is it for real? and my good friend said to me 'it's good being a compassionate and passionate person. it's a gift. but we need to choose carefully to whom we should give them to' .......... hmm, but how do we know if someone is worth such gifts?
