what's the definition of nice bootie????


that's 1 question i used to have the 1st time i landed my feet in this country... one afternoon (VERY LONG TIME AGO), my best friend and i were having lunch in front of our giant school library, then suddenly she cut our conversation, and whispered "holly molly God in heaven, he has 1 fine ass!!! girl, check that out!!!!!" and stared at this guy's behind as he was walking in front of us. sitting there w/ food in my mouth, i was turning my head around to find this God's fine creation she was talking about. so i looked, and was confused... "huh?? that? really? why?? hmmm... interesting!"....... why? 'cuz until that day, i'd never really paid attention how someone's butts looked, or ever known what really the definition of nice ass or had someone say it outloud like that.... so i was like 'whoaa.. this is new'

i didn't get it at all back then. all i did was just 'uh huh! yea.. sure!'... i didn't ask her that time, but the question was still lingering in my head. oh well, i didn't really think about it anymore... or did some research for that matter...

'til 1 day...
my mom came to visit me... so i introduced her to my boyfriend at that time. they talked... and got along just fine... thank God for that... later that nite, after my ex excused himself to go home, my mom came up to me...

"he seems nice"

"he is... "

"do you really like him?"

"i think so... do you?"

"he's ok...... uhm, but what else do you see from him?"

"huh...??"

"yea... what else do you see from him?"

"as in...???"

"well, you tell me..."

"uhm... well, i dunno.. why?? do you find something about him that i should know about??"

"no..."

"so??"

"my dear, he doesn't have butts!"

"HUHHHH?!?!?!?!"

i completely stopped f/ whatever i was doing at that time, trying to register what my mom just said, looking at her w/ stunned look, couldn't believe what i just heard, and laughing so hard after that.... ha ha ha ha... my God... MY BELOVED MOM said that!!! i mean, yes, it might not be that funny for you guys who come f/ western culture 'cuz you can talk pretty much about lots of things openly. BUT knowing my parents and growing up w/ a culture that doesn't really embrace the beauty of someone's ass, it was a hella shocking moment!!!! plus i KNOW she's not smoking or taking anything...

so... from that point on, i knew that i gotta learn fast... :D and i'm a very good student ;) esp. w/ very good 'teachers' (credited to all my dearest friends who are now living kinda far away) that i had.


li'l note f/ me:my mom is a simple and very smart woman who wants only the best for her family... she might not remember this anymore, but mom, if you ever stumbled to this post, trust me, this happened for real :) and please know that i love you so dearly.
